Our GB1 Fundamentals Program is the foundation of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu at GBLCF, open to teens and adults ages 13 and up. Whether you're just starting or returning to training, this program offers a structured, beginner-friendly path to learning the core positions, movements, and techniques of BJJ. No-Gi options include Friday mornings and our Thursday evening Wrestling for BJJ class, focused on takedowns, control, and transitions without the gi, while still being accessible to new students. With multiple training times throughout the week, this program is ideal for anyone looking to build a solid jiu-jitsu foundation in a supportive, ego-free environment, regardless of age, athletic background, or experience.
Our GB2 Advanced Program is open to students ranked 3-stripe white belt and above. This program focuses on advanced positions, transitions, and strategies—building off the foundation learned in GB1 and preparing students for higher-level sparring and competition. Each session features in-depth technical instruction followed by five rounds of live sparring, allowing students to develop timing, pressure, and flow against fully resisting opponents.
The GB3 Competition Class is our most intense training block, built for active competitors and serious athletes. This 2-hour session includes full sparring rounds and specific training in both gi and nogi. This class focuses on match pacing, and conditioning, simulating the physical and mental demands of tournament performance.
